Karin Gaffney's Personal Page

2017-2018 GOVERNOR

Karin joined the Rotary Club of Nashoba Valley as a charter member in February 2012, and served as president in its charter year. She successfully led her club to receive numerous Rotary International and district awards, including Best Club.  She has served since the club’s inception as Speaker chair and Service Projects chair and is on the club’s Board of Directors.

Karin also served for three years as an assistant governor and as a trustee. She is a Paul Harris Fellow and an Rotary Leadership Institute graduate. In 2014, she was honored as Rotarian of the Year. She has organized a number of district events, and served as District Conference chair in 2016.
Karin’s career as a banking professional spans more than 30 years. She was most recently employed by Rockland Trust as vice president of commercial lending. In this role, she oversaw commercial-lending efforts in the Metrowest area of Massachusetts, specifically as they related to commercial and industrial, commercial real estate, and construction loans.

Karin’s hobbies include hiking, biking and gardening.

Karin is an active member of her community. In addition to her commitment to Rotary, she holds the positions of director of The Nature Connection and of Live for Liv.

Karin graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She resides in Littleton, Massachusetts with her husband, Dana Gray. She has three grown children: Christopher, Caroline and Connor.
