2017-2018 GOVERNOR

Lincoln grew up in a Rotary family, attending Rotary meetings and functions at an early age. His grandfather was a charter member and past president of the Rotary Club of Ellsworth. Lincoln’s parents were both involved in the Ellsworth club: his father was past president, club secretary and club historian; and his mother was a Rotary Ann, as women were not allowed to join Rotary back then.

Lincoln joined his grandfather’s club in 2002, and has served in many capacities, including secretary, president, and coordinator for the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. He established the Interact Club at Ellsworth High School.  A Paul Harris Fellow +4, internationally, he has participated in two wheelchair distributions, in Panama and Belize, and raised money for Haiti Relief.

At the District level, Lincoln has served as assistant governor for Area 8, district secretary, and general district secretary. He also developed and taught the first Secretary Session at PETS.
He was awarded the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year in 2007 for his community service.

Lincoln attended Eastern Maine Vocational Institute and the Maine Criminal Justice Academy, and was employed at the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and the Hancock County District Attorney’s Office. After retiring, he went to work for the family business, Timberland Acres RV Park in Trenton, Maine.

Lincoln is married to his wife of 40 years, Debbie Ehrlenbach, who is also a Rotarian.  They have two daughters, Erin Collins of Scarborough, Maine and Ashley Johnson of Hancock, Maine.  Ashley is also a Rotarian and a past president, now serving as 2017-2018 district secretary.  Lincoln and Debbie have three grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, and Brielle. Lincoln enjoys downhill skiing, playing golf, and spending time with the grandchildren.
